Al Khartoum players give Kwesi Appiah remarkable farewell
Appiah has been in charge of the Sudanese club since 2014, leading them to fourth and fifth places respectively in his first two years.
However, the 56-year-old is set to return as Ghana coach following an announcement by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) last week.
And his departure from Al Khartoum was marked with a memorable farewell by the players of the club.
The newly appointed Ghana coach was raised sky-high by his charges after a match on Sunday.
Kwesi Appiah will officially take charge of Ghana on May 1. This will mark his second coming as Ghana coach, following his first stint in charge of the West African nation between 2012 and 2014.
